Research has established that haskap berry exhibits relatively high antioxidant levels when measured under laboratory conditions compared with many commonly consumed fruits and superfruits. In particular, it is primarily abundant in bioactive phytochemicals – particularly a major anthocyanin, cyanidin-3-O-glucoside (“CG3), with scientific evidence for broad based health-promoting possibilities. C3G can decrease blood glucose levels, act as an anti-diabetic, reduce cardiovascular disease, have anti-inflammatory effects, and potentially prevent cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Haskap berries have a a much higher concentration of C3G compared to other berries (up to 15 times than wild blueberry, and up to 4.5 times than bilberry).
Haskap berry sits at the top of the ‘superfruits’ (avocado, kiwi, elderberry, cranberry,
pomegranate, blueberry, and acai berry), with numerous proven health and nutritional benefits.
Compared to Blueberry, Haskap has 3 times more Potassium, 21 times more Vitamin c, 8 times more vitamin A & 2 times more vitamin E.
Vitamin A content in Haskap is 5 times more than Kiwi, 3 times more than Avocado, 7 times more than Cranberry. Haskap has almost double amount of Vitamin E compared to Pomegranate or Blueberry.

The use of fibers and polysaccharides from mushrooms and yeasts have been widely documented, along with their observed antitumor, anti-microbial, anti-allergic, as well as immune-modulating effects, in addition to the cardiovascular disease risk-reducing activities, commonly attributed to their bioactive compound, β-glucans. β-Glucans are believed to stimulate the immune system, modulating humoral and cellular immunity, and thereby have beneficial effects in fighting infectious diseases, such as bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic diseases.
Baker's yeast beta-glucan supplement may protect against upper respiratory Tract Infection (URTI), reduce symptoms & duration of URTI.
Not all beta glucans are created equal. Wellmune® is a highly specialised and clinically proven 1,3 1,6 beta glucans.

Vitamin C is a water-soluble essential nutrient that is not made by the human body, so it is an essential dietary component
Vitamin C enhances your immunity, it also plays a central role in many other aspects of your health; it helps improves tissue healing and helps your body form blood vessels, muscle & collagen
Vitamin C is a strong defence against disease and supports the body during periods of stress, it is believed to reduce the incidence of many illnesses including common cold & pneumonia. It supports the production of interferon, a hormone that can kill an infected cell for the body’s protection. It also enhances the production of T and B lymphocytes.
Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant, fighting free radicals in our blood and organs. Ongoing research is examining whether vitamin C, by limiting the damaging effects of free radicals through its antioxidant activity, might help prevent or delay the development of certain cancers, cardiovascular disease, and other diseases in which oxidative stress plays a causal role.

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant, so will help protect your cells from damage and slow the aging process of your cells
It has now been proven that Vitamin E stimulates the body’s defences, enhances humoral and cell immune responses and increases phagocytic functions.
Especially in the elderly, Vitamin E has a pronounced effect in infectious diseases
Scientific researches showed Vitamin E enhances resistance to viral diseases and reduces number of infections over a three-year period

Vitamin B complex was historically supposed to be the single vitamin but later it was found that it consists of several different compounds that can be grouped into different categories according to their functional distinctions. Several members of vitamin B complex are used in our body to promote the defensive role for better health and prevention of diseases by boosting-up the immune system.

Vitamin D is important for your immune health, it helps the immune system adapt and ward off infection.
Research shows a link between vitamin D and respiratory infections. People with the lowest blood vitamin D levels report having significantly more recent colds or cases of the flu. These risks are even higher for those with chronic respiratory disorders, such as asthma and emphysema.
Unlike other immune support vitamins like Vitamin C, it is very difficult to get your needed daily from food, neither from sun exposure in winter in cold countries.
Vitamin D is needed for optimal overall health and especially plays a vital role in calcium absorption to maintain healthy bones and teeth.
Vitamin D3 deficiency has been linked to increased incidence of depression.
Vitamin D3 deficiencies have shown an increase risk of autoimmune diseases such as MS, psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis.
Vitamin D3 helps restore beneficial gut bacteria which in these studies has shown to have a key role in diabetes and heart disease.
Of the other forms of Vitamin D, Vitamin D3 is the the fully activated form that is identical to vitamin D produced in the body by repeated exposure to sunlight. Vitamin D3 is highly bioavailable and considered superior to other forms of vitamin D.

Zinc is essential for communications between the immune system’s two parts, the innate and adaptive defences, helping to coordinate an effective immune response.
Zinc is involved in numerous aspects of cellular metabolism, it plays a role in protein syntheses, wound healing, DNA syntheses and cell division.
Studies show that zinc supplementation is beneficial in (1) viral infections, e.g., the common cold, diarrhea, chronic hepatitis C, or human immunodeficiency virus (HIV); (2) bacterial infections such as shigellosis or Helicobacter pylori; (3) parasitic infestations such as acute cutaneous leishmaniosis or malaria; (4) autoimmune diseases such as Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus and Rheumatoid Arthritis; and (5) transplant rejections.
A daily intake of zinc is required to maintain a steady state because the body has no specialized zinc storage system.

Selenium (Se) is an essential micronutrient and a potent antioxidant that plays critical roles in various aspects of human health including reproduction, thyroid hormone metabolism, DNA syntheses, cardiovascular health, prevention of neurodegeneration and cancer, and optimal immune responses
Selenium is not only important for initiating or enhancing immunity, but they are also involved in immunoregulation, which is crucial for preventing excessive responses that may lead to autoimmunity, cytokines storm or chronic inflammation
Recently, Selenium supplementation was found to be protective against H1N1 influenza infection

Recent evidence suggests that copper exacts an important role in the maintenance of immunocompetence.
Copper deficiency results in decreased humoral and cell-mediated, as well as nonspecific immune function. Impairment of immune function may be highly correlated with an increased incidence of infection and higher mortality rates observed in copper-deficient animals.
Some of the recent research showed that interleukin 2 is reduced in copper deficiency and is likely the mechanism by which T cell proliferation is reduced.
Cu/Zn ratio may be considered an important clinical inflammatory-nutritional biomarker as well as a significant predictor of all-cause mortality in over 70-year-olds.
